2 – Registrations, Fees and Refunds

2.1 Registrations

Access to the event is permitted exclusively to holders of a valid registration ticket. Two registration fees are provided:

The standard fee of €40 includes: participation in the event, access to the route tracks, refreshment at mid-route and at the end of the event, one “musette” with gadgets provided by partners, and refreshment vouchers (one drink voucher and one food voucher).

The premium fee of €55 includes: participation in the event, access to the route tracks, refreshment at mid-route and at the end of the event, one “musette” with gadgets provided by partners and refreshment vouchers (two drink vouchers and one food voucher), the official event T-shirt, and a limited-edition MARMöL Gravel collectable publication.

2.2 Identification and Collection of Event “Musette”

Identification procedures and collection of materials will take place on the day of the event at the desk set up at Museo Mille Miglia, during the times communicated on the official website.

Collection by proxy is permitted upon presentation of:

(a) the registration confirmation letter of the delegating participant (also in digital format);
 (b) a copy of the identity document of the delegating participant;
 (c) any additional documentation required to regularise the registration.

2.3 Mandatory Documentation

It is mandatory to upload the medical certificate by 18 March 2026 via the registration form or by sending it to the email address iscrizioni@negot.cc.

Participants who have not uploaded the mandatory documentation (sports membership, where required, and medical certificate) by the deadline set by the organisation will be excluded, without appeal, from participation, without entitlement to a refund of the registration fee.

Registration is personal and non-transferable. No refunds are provided in the event of inability to participate for reasons not attributable to the organisation.

2.4 Sports Membership

The event is reserved for athletes holding a CSI membership or a membership with sports promotion bodies adhering to the relevant council.

For participants who do not hold a membership card, the possibility of obtaining a daily membership in accordance with CSI regulations will be available.

3 – Routes and Medical-Sport Requirements

3.1 Long Route
The long route develops predominantly on unpaved surfaces, with significant distance and positive elevation gain (approximately 80 km and 1,800 metres of positive elevation). Participation in this route requires an adequate level of training and good physical condition.

To register for the long route, it is mandatory to hold a competitive medical fitness certificate (Type B) or, alternatively, a non-competitive medical certificate for high cardiovascular effort, valid on the date of the event.

The certificate must be uploaded via the registration form or sent to iscrizioni@negot.cc by 18 March 2026.

In the absence of a valid certificate by the indicated deadline, registration for the long route will be cancelled without entitlement to a refund.

3.2 Short Route

The short route also develops predominantly on unpaved surfaces, with lower distance and elevation gain compared to the long route (approximately 60 km and 900 metres of positive elevation), but still requires good physical condition and adequate bike-handling skills.

For the short route, a non-competitive medical fitness certificate (or higher category) valid on the date of the event is required.

The certificate must be uploaded via the registration form or sent to iscrizioni@negot.cc by 18 March 2026. Failure to provide the certificate will result in exclusion from the event without entitlement to a refund.

4 – Route, Traffic and Rules of Conduct

MARMöL Gravel takes place along an itinerary following the Via del Marmo Botticino, on unpaved roads, white roads and secondary roads, partially open to vehicular traffic.

The route will not be marked on the ground: the official track will be provided to participants in .gpx format on 20 March 2026 via email. Sharing of the tracks with third parties is prohibited.

The route takes place on roads open to traffic: participants are required to strictly comply with the Highway Code and rules of prudence. Participation is in self-sufficiency and under the exclusive responsibility of the participant.

On unpaved sections, participants must pay particular attention to the presence of pedestrians, other cyclists, animals (especially horses) and work vehicles, moderating speed and yielding when necessary.

Participants are required to follow the provided track, respect private property crossed by the route, and avoid causing damage to land, crops, fences or structures.

Incorrect, dangerous or rule-violating behaviour, identified by the organisation or reported by other participants, may result in immediate removal from the route and exclusion from future editions of the event.

The event will take place in all weather conditions, unless otherwise ordered by competent authorities in the event of weather alerts or hazardous situations. In the event of route or programme changes, the organisation will promptly communicate updates via email to the addresses provided at registration and through other official channels.

5 –Permitted Vehicles and Mandatory Equipment

All human-powered bicycles suitable for use on unpaved terrain are permitted, including gravel bikes and mountain bikes. The use of e-bikes is permitted provided they are suitable for off-road use.

Road racing bicycles are not permitted.

Each participant is responsible for the efficiency and safety condition of their own bicycle.

The use of a certified protective helmet is mandatory for the entire duration of the event.

Safety equipment required by the Highway Code (reflectors, bell, lighting in low-visibility conditions, etc.) is also mandatory.

Participation requires the use of a GPS navigation device (bike computer or smartphone) with the route track downloaded in advance.

6 – Services

Bag storage: A bag storage service will be available in the start/finish area. It is not permitted to deposit money, documents or valuables. The organisation shall not be held responsible for theft, loss or damage of deposited items.

Refreshment: A refreshment point common to both routes will be provided, accessible only to duly registered participants wearing a race number or other identification provided by the organisation.

Medical assistance: A medical assistance service (ambulance) will be present for the entire duration of the event, according to the modalities communicated in the official programme and indicated by the Regional Emergency and Urgency Agency (AREU).

Toilets: Toilet facilities will be available in the start/finish area at Museo Mille Miglia.

7 – Environmental Protection

Participants are required to behave in a manner respectful of the environment, particularly avoiding littering along the route. Littering or behaviour seriously harmful to the environment may result in exclusion from future editions of the event.

8 – Image Rights

9 – Personal Data Processing (Privacy)

In accordance with current personal data protection regulations, participants are informed that the data provided will be processed by Negot C.C. ASD, as data controller, exclusively for the following purposes:

10 – Declaration of Responsibility and Liability Waiver

By registering for the event, the participant declares that they are in suitable psycho-physical condition, have undergone appropriate medical checks and hold the medical certificate required for the chosen route.

The participant acknowledges that participation in a cycling touring event on roads open to traffic and unpaved terrain involves personal risks (falls, collisions, accidents with vehicles or other participants, adverse weather conditions, road surface conditions, etc.) and takes part under their exclusive responsibility.

The participant, on behalf of themselves, their heirs and assigns, waives any claim for compensation against the organisation, partners and entities involved in the event in any capacity, for damages arising from participation in the event, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence attributable to the organisation, within the limits permitted by law.

11 – Acceptance of the Regulations

By registering and purchasing the participation ticket for the MARMöL Gravel event, the participant declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these regulations.
